Kathleen Russell
Kathleen Russell has been riding her entire life and considersherself lucky for the opportunities she has had.
Starting as a barrel racer she has ended up in the 3-Day Event world. She has roped, competed in western and english
equitation, ridden 3 and 5 gaited horses, driven single to 4 in hand hitches, competed through intermediate in eventing and is a graduate from Lindenwood Colleges with a BS in Equine Science.
Her long time trainer and friend, Denny Emerson, is who she compliments for her present place in the event world. She has cliniced with Bruce Davidson, Mike Plumb, George Morris, Mike Huber, Jim Graham, Michael Paige, Jan Ebling and has traveled several times to Germany for dressage training.
Kathleen now continues her training and shares her knowledge with the Goose Downs staff and students.
