1. Entries:
Double entries not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry. All other competitors must be USEA members. $25 office fee for each entry change after closing date. Refunds: Before closing date – less $25; After closing date – Entry less $25 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list. Competition cancellation – no refund. Negative Coggins drawn within 12 months of Event required for all horses. Incomplete entries will be subject to a $25 fee! Scratched entries in writing only (email prefered.)

Cross Country opens–3pm. Competitors Welcome Reception and briefing 4:30 – 6:00.
Sun: Dressage- 8:00am Show jumping – 10:00 am, Competitors Party - 5:00 pm
Mon: Cross-country – 8:00 am
3. Awards:
Awards: 1st Place trophy and ribbons 1st through 8th. Prize money: Open Intermediate/ Open Preliminary. OpenTraining Divisions. Team competition 1st through 3rd.

4. Starting Times:
Starting Times: Available on Startbox, please confirm times upon arrival.
5. Stabling/Veterinarian:
Stabling on site(about 100 Stalls on grounds), will be filled first come first serve, enter early if on site stalls fill unlimited local stalls available $120/stall, initial bedding, Friday 12:00 through Tuesday 8 am. Hay and Shavings on grounds. Veterinarian: Thal Equine 505-438-6550.

Accommodations: Santa Fe: Pecos Trail Inn (inexp) – 20 mi 505-982-1943, The Fairfield Inn (reas) – 25 mi 505-474-4442. Lots of hotels, all ranges in Santa Fe; however, the summer is high tourist season in Santa Fe, please book your hotel early. Also, Moriarty: 30 miles South, Super 8 505-832-6730, Holiday Inn Express 505-832-5000. Both of these motels are inexpensive. Camping: KOA campground – 11 mi., 505-466-1419.

From I-25 North or South: Exit Clines Corners (Hwy 285), south 6.5 mi; right on Hwy 41 for 4 mi Goose Downs Farm on west side of road opposite mile marker 58.
From I-40 West: Moriarty Exit to Hwy 41 (Howard Cavasos Blvd), 30 mi to mile marker 58. Goose Downs on west side of the road.
I-40 East: Exit Clines Corners North, Hwy 285 N 30 miles to HWY 41, turn left, 4 mi. Goose Downs Farm on west side of road, opposite mile marker 58.

9. Cross-Country:
Cross-Country: I-2900m @550 mpm. P–3000m @ 520 mpm. T–2400m @ 450mpm, N–2000m @ 400mpm. BN–2000m @ 350mpm. PC - 1800m @300 mpm (2' water optional.). All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at these levels. Goose Downs Farm is at 6,000 feet elevation. Courses are hilly, fit horse required.
10. Other Information:
- Cross country course is closed August 23nd.
- Entry limit is 150. No limit to number of horses per rider
- Levels may be combined or divided if entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry.
- Food and drink available on grounds.
- Dogs must be leashed. Loose dogs caught and held for $50 ransom.
- Team Competition: Teams of 3 to 4 members, best scores to count; all team members at same level. Sign up before dressage - $5 per team member.
Competitors’ Welcome Reception – Sat afternoon-No charge, everyone invited. Competitors Party Sunday night is for everyone, each entry recieves 1 ticket, additional tickets can be purchased at show office for $25
Goose Downs is a fragile high-desert environment. No smoking, except in cars. Please check with secretary concerning motorized vehicles on course. Please conserve water. We recycle, please help us.
